Cardi B Covers FADER Magazine, Talks Signing To Atlantic Records & Offset

Cardi B's hustle won't stop. The former "Love & Hip Hop" star and rapper announced that she recently signed to Atlantic Records

This big reveal was discussed in her cover story for THE FADER. Oh yeah, the talent is featured on the publication's Summer Music Issue's cover, too! Cardi graced the magazine and looked absolutely gorgeous in each and every shot taken of her. We thought we told you that she won't stop!

"People really don't understand like, Atlantic signed me right? People don't understand that they signed me because I put out a free mixtape and it sold so much and it was free," Cardi told the music publication. "Like, the numbers don't lie. It's right there."

She continued: "I had a lot of deals on the table but like they gave me the best offer, the one that I don't have to owe them much, and they just gave me a lot of money so I took it.They gave the right number, so I chose them. It was significantly more than other [deals]."

Cardi also spoke about how much her rumored boyfriend Offset and his group Migos inspires her. "It’s been a blessing, me meeting him and meeting his friends. I see how hard they work. And that motivated me to work even harder,” she said. “And I see how good things are going for them and how popping it is to be number one. And I’m like, I want that. A lot of people just see they jewelry and they money, but I don’t think a lot of people see how hard they work for that s**t every single day.”

Continuing to rise and shine like the star-in-the-making she is, Cardi added: "I won't settle for less. I feel like I deserve a lot because I know what I could bring to the table. I could sell anything. I could sell ass in a can." Cardi is nominated for a couple BET Awards, which will go down this Sunday (June 25) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California. Here's to her winning streak continuing!
